Wellington Library - Music Books - Scores Wellington Library has the main collection of music books, scores and plays in Telford & Wrekin libraries. Specialist staff can help and advise, or you can browse amongst the following materials: Ø Books on contemporary and classical music, composers, artists and the music industry Ø Music scores for piano' keyboards, guitar, clarinet, saxophone and many other instruments Ø Vocal score sets and choral sheet music.
Ø Books on drama, costume theatre, stage-craft and dramatists.
Subscription Charges - an annual subscription fee is payable by groups borrowing sets of music or plays. Please ask staff for details. Requests - if we are unable to satisfy your requirements from our stock we may be able to obtain material through our links with other libraries throughout the country. When multiple copies of a work are obtained a proportion of any carriage and other charges incurred may have to be passed on to the person, or group, making the request. Loan periods may vary but individual books are normally issued free for three weeks with up to three further renewals allowed if no one else is waiting for the item. Performing sets of dramatic and musical works may be kept for the duration of the rehearsals and performance, within reason! Some items, such as directories, encyclopaedias, periodicals, and catalogues are available for reference use in the library only. Fines will be charged if you do not return any item by the date indicated at the time of issue. Publicity - The Library will normally display posters and other publicity material for a performance free of charge. Please ask the staff about this service.
