A Brief Introduction to New College, Telford New College is the Sixth Form College for Telford and East Shropshire. The college offers a wide range of study options at all levels and large numbers of students join us each year. It is located in Wellington and has been offering high quality education for more than quarter of a century. The college has an excellent reputation for the provision of advanced level study programmes and also offers a range of courses at foundation and intermediate levels to meet the needs of local learners. Specialist Courses The college offers a number of specialist vocational courses including: Music, Performing Arts, Art and Design Science To support these activities there is specialist accommodation: Studios A state-of-the-art studio complex with two recording studios and a number of mobile recording facilities; there is a Music Technology Lab which houses a suite of the latest PCs loaded with industry standard software for creating and editing music and excellent performance facilities. Theatre and Performances The college has a purpose built theatre, fully equipped with high specification lighting, sound and dressing rooms to ensure that all sorts of performers get the opportunity to rehearse and work in professional facilities.
